The Ninth District PTA will be hosting Legislative meetings throughout the year. The goal moving forward is to facilitate them through web conferencing in order to make the meetings more efficient.
The V.P. of Legislation is currently working with the Board to analyze the best solutions. We are looking to make the meeting go live mid November 2009.
These meetings will be used to discuss a variety of legislative topics, allow for questions for those who are interested in learning more about advocacy and grassroots lobbying, and to share experiences and/or knowledge.
The goal is, also, to host one to two live meetings with legislators and/or education leaders.
